Join us for an intensive look at the world of culinary arts at this exciting summer program provided by Hampton County Schools, in partnership with Truist Bank, The Technical College of the Lowcountry, & Hampton Friends of the Arts, Inc.

Thanks to a gift from Truist, local students will be able to travel to Bluffton daily for instruction at TCL's new flagship hospitality campus, The Culinary Institute of the South. Participating students will learn the basics of cooking in a restaurant environment. All students will be provided with a uniform, kitchen shoes, a knife kit, and a pastry kit to assist in their studies. Additionally, upon completion of the course, a graduation ceremony will be held at the Stanley Fine Art Center, where each student will be presented with a certificate of completion which confers three hours of college credit upon enrollment at TCL and ServeSafe certification. 

This opportunity is open to rising 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders, as well as 2024 graduates.
